“PARLONS AGRICULTURE” – FRENCH MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES ORGANIZED A CONFERENCE ON ALIMENTATION

Paris, 23rd April 2008 - The Secretary General followed the conference “Parlons Agriculture” which took place in Paris on 23rd April 2008.

Organized by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in partnership with the “Service d’Information du Gouvernement” the conference will underline issues that will raise agriculture from different point of view: alimentary, energetic, climatic and environmental.

The aim of the initiative “Parlons Agriculture” is to renew the dialogue between the Society and agriculture.

Michel Barnier, French Ministrer of Agriculture and Fisheries, has organized three meetings open to public, which will move European and International actors and experts.

        Paris, 21st May 2008 – Citè des Sciences – “Quelle agricultures pour demain ? ”

        Brussels, 3rd June 2008 – European Parliament – “Qui va nourrir le monde?”
