EFI is a specific initiative in the fisheries and aquaculture industries,
carried out in collaboration with institutional and entrepreneurial bodies
involved in marketing, processing, conservation and distribution of sea and
aquaculture products.
EFI takes particular interest in spreading better practices in the field of
import/export procedures and quality control: certification, labelling and traceability.
EFI is involved in problematic issues related to the protection of fisheries
resources, to safety at sea, to health and hygiene aspects of processing,
conservation and distribution of the catch.
EFI is a project of Euro-Med TDS in co-operation with governmental institutions,
the European Union and entrepreneurs.
EFI activities are open to any contribution of ideas or experiences.
